Incoming Quality Control
In order to effectively control the parts to meet the quality requirements of farm tractors and farm implements, CROPILOTS ensures that all parts used in production are under quality control to prevent various defects and substandard products caused by substandard parts. The following steps will be taken:
- Incoming parts inspection (the warehouse provides the incoming parts notice, and the production department provides the specification);
- Inspection of scrap materials and making judgments on parts proposed for scrapping by the warehouse or factory;
- Out-of-warehouse re-inspection, i.e., re-inspecting parts stored for an extended period to determine their validity;
- Inspection of returned parts, i.e., checking the remaining parts used by CROPILOTS to determine whether they are to be stored, returned to the supplier, or scrapped;
- Evaluation of new suppliers, with procurement and engineering departments collaborating to determine their qualification;
- Coaching suppliers to improve (in cooperation with procurement and production departments);
- Conducting effective experiments and analysis on suspected defective parts;
- Maintaining records and signs for inspection, notifying relevant departments of inspection results for judgment and traceability;
- The quality supervisor is responsible for the judgment and treatment of unqualified products.
How will this be implemented?
Step 1. After IQC receives the notification of incoming parts from the warehouse, it should inspect the batch according to the content specified in the inspection card developed by the inspection document;
Step 2. Inspection must be done strictly according to inspection documents, and finished and semi-finished products must be assembled for effect appraisal in case of discrepancies;
Step 3. Record inspection results and related data in the IQC inspection report and submit it to the quality supervisor for review;
Step 4. If the inspection is qualified, mark the inspection batch, affix the IQC PASSED label on inspected parts, submit the inspection copy to relevant departments, and retain the original copy with the quality department;
Step 5. If the inspection fails, IQC submits defective samples and inspection report to the quality supervisor for judgment. The quality supervisor evaluates the impact on the final quality of the farm tractors or farm implements and makes the final judgment according to the severity of corresponding issues;
Step 6. IQC marks the corresponding inspection results according to the final handling opinion of the quality supervisor, using IQC REJECTED labels for returned parts, IQC special labels for special parts, and IQC selection labels for selected parts;
Step 7. For parts judged to be selected, IQC needs to indicate defective points on the IQC selection label, so targeted selection can be made during production, and IQC needs to focus on following up on the parts in question;
Step 8. If parts are judged to be returned, specially selected, or processed/selected, the quality supervisor fills in the abnormal quality contact form, signs the handling opinion, and sends it to the purchasing department, which then contacts the supplier to improve quality. The original copy of the contact form is archived by the quality department for tracking and confirmation of subsequent incoming materials.
The above Incoming Quality Control policy serves as a comprehensive guide for maintaining the highest quality standards for our farm tractors and farm implements.
